Edify Auditorium

The Auditorium serves as Edify's signature space, acting as the initial landing point for users upon launching the app. As the creative lead, I had specific objectives for this space. Firstly, it needed to be visually captivating, immediately capturing users' attention and infusing a sense of curiosity into their learning experience. Functionally, it was designed to serve as a versatile location for conversations, lectures, and community interactions, with a serene and tranquil ambiance, disconnected from the time constraints of the real world while still maintaining a familiar and grounded atmosphere.

To achieve these goals, I envisioned an indoor-outdoor space, blending elements of nature with manmade structures, and creating an environment conducive to creative thinking. Through extensive research on similar spaces, I settled on a circular layout, without a distinct beginning or end, encouraging users to freely explore and engage in conversations.

Throughout the project, I led a team of skilled artists, creating reference boards, breaking down tasks, and the formulating schedules to ensure efficient progress. I also facilitated the flow of feedback between team members, continually checking in to ensure that everything proceeded smoothly.

The final outcome of our efforts is a stunning, almost magical, and surreal environment that still retains a sense of realism and grounding. This space features three distinct lighting scenarios and landscape options, is complemented by animated animals, a running water feature, and bespoke sound design - collectively working together to fully immerse users in this captivating setting, transcending traditional learning experiences.
